Prof. Camici awarded by the Swiss Cardiology Foundation

We are very pleased to report that the Swiss Cardiology Foundation has awarded the 2020 research prize to Prof. Giovanni Camici, molecular biologist at the University of Zurich. Prof. Camici has collaborated with Cardiocentro Ticino as a research consultant for years.

In motivating the award, the Swiss Cardiology Foundation underlined that “the research work of Prof. Camici highlighted the genetic mechanisms that damage our blood vessels. In the future, this knowledge will help protect us better from heart attack and stroke. ”
The Foundation Board and the whole Cardiocentro Ticino offer to Professor Camici sincere congratulations.
