Sports Medicine
Sports Medicine
Sports medicine is preventive in nature, always fundamental, but above all at a young age, in protecting amateur and competitive sporting practice. In sports medicine, it is possible to identify pathologies that may determine complications, even serious ones, if they are not diagnosed in advance.
Head of Sports Medicine
Dr. Bruno Capelli

- Medical-sports internal/orthopedic examination
- ECG at rest
- Exercise ECG (cycle ergometry/treadmill)
- Any laboratory analyzes (basic or complete blood tests according to Swiss Olympic standards)
- Possible spirometry (lung function at rest)
- Possibility of rapid specialist consultancy within the structure (cardiology/electrophysiology/cardiac imaging) in case of need for further information
- Test analysis and final discussion
Medical-sports evaluation with performance diagnostics
The determination of physiological markers of cardiorespiratory adaptation to effort (VO2max, ventilatory thresholds, respiratory volumes…), allows us to evaluate the state of form (VO2max) and to establish training zones to improve quality and performance.
- Medical-sports-internal/orthopedic examination
- ECG at rest
- Spirometry (lung function at rest)
- Cardiopulmonary test (CPET with mask) with continuous ECG on racing bikes (pegs with look/shimano attachment and Powermeter for racing bike shoes or with mountain bike attachments) or treadmill
